About The Event

We have an awesome opportunity this coming labor day, at the  BMW RA National rally in Maine, to help riders learn the essentials for off-road adventure riding. Whether you plan on tackling a BDR route or just exploring on your own, professional adventure rider training will give you the confidence you need to complete your journey.  Our classes for this particular rally will last a full 4hrs.  Freshen up in the morning with professional training, or in the afternoon for your next days adventure.

Adventure riding basics, will begin Friday morning starting at 8:30am and ending at 12:30pm.  Adventure riding basics will cover the fundamentals in tackling an off-pavement environment. Including clutch and throttle development, braking on loose surfaces, when to sit or stand, being comfortable in the saddle, how not to fall,  proper weight distribution when traveling, bike set up and gear selection. This fully packed 4hr class is probably the most important class we offer. It gives you the essentials that you can base all your future off-pavement succeses on.

Adventure riding basics will also be offered Saturday morning starting at 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Intermediate level adventure riding. In this class we will teach you how to properly turn a large ADV motor on a dime. We work a lot on balance, control, and staying loose on the bike. In our intermediate level classes we will work more with  real-world off-road scenarios and  will have access to the GS Giants track to tackle some natural obstacles in a controlled environment. This class will be for riders who have the basic fundamentals, but are wanting to develop more off-road skills and build the confidence that will help them in tackling more difficult terrain.

Intermediate level adventure riding will be offered Thursday afternoon starting at 1:30pm and last until 5:30pm. Also available Friday and Saturday Afternoon 1:30pm to 5:30pm.

Any questions or concerns at all, please feel free to reach out to me via email or directly to Tom Asher: 740-974-7631 Please leave a message and I will get back to you soon.
